We had so much fun entertaining our lolos and lolas of the Kanlungan ni Maria last February 9, 2019. We delivered the customized trike for them to use going to their doctor’s appointment. Everyone is happy including Father Antonio and Sister M. To all the performers in the United States, especially to Ms. Odette Quesada, those who watched the show from Southern and Northern California, friends and family who made donations and to all the volunteers, our endless thank you! This will not be possible without your support to our foundation.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Odette Quesada LIVE!
December 2, 2018 @ Josephine's Restaurant in Cerritos, California
"Good evening to all. I’m so happy that you all came tonight. First of all, I would like to thank Odette Quesada- OQ from the bottom of my heart for making this mission possible. With no hesitancy she said, yes I will do it. Odette has a very big heart and she loves to help. Thank you OQ. Let’s support her on her upcoming shows here in LA. She deserves an audience like you. I also would like to thank the JNJ crew. Lally and co , Celine, Luigi, Candy, JNJ band, Julia, Maru, Gil, Kathy, Danny, Carrie, Zandy and Claire the owners of Josephines. Thank you!
But, more than anything, the reason you are here, aside of course from watching the show, makes a big difference in the lives of many unfortunate people. We want JNJ Foundation to be your TRUSTED non-profit corporation. Rest assured that your donations now and in the future is in good hands. To enlighten you a little bit on this matter, it was actually an idea I had when I woke up one day and decided I should reach out and help. It was like a calling I had to comply to. I thought to myself I’m so blessed with what I have right now. My job, my family and friends. I could not ask for more, so why not help those who are more in need. The only other way I know to earn good money is to put up shows like this. Because , the giver also benefits from watching the show.
I visited them last June, and I saw their need of a more comfortable means of transportation they can use going to and from the hospital for check ups. The place is uphill and the common transportation there is tricycle. I saw how hard it is for the lola to get off her w/c to get inside the tricycle. (see video clips) Seeing this broke my heart. I couldn’t imagine myself or any member of my family going through that discomfort. So I thought why not make easier for them. This was what I had in mind (show the tricycle with lift). The money that we are trying to raise here will all go to customizing a brand new trike, and also provide them with cash gifts. These would somehow alleviate their pain and loneliness. Now, this is just the first. In the next years to come, we are planning to support other institutions like orphanages, hospitals and street lolos and lolas as well. God willing we can come up with more quality show like what you are about see and a wonderful audience like you so that this ADVOCACY could live. I can’t thank you enough for your presence tonight. This just shows how compassionate Filipinos are especially towards their fellow men. The one thing I’ve learned in this short journey is that giving is always a matter of the heart. God looks at the heart. Whatever we do we must make sure that our motive is right. Giving brings blessing back to us. (wag tayo mamilit ng tao to donate). Kailangan gusto ng puso nya. It is more blessed to give than to receive. It just feels good to know that someone breathed easier today because of all of you! Thank you all. Enjoy the show."
